Join us as we welcome SUE SPARGO to our classroom!  We are so excited to be able to offer these classes and are so looking forward to this time. 

In this 3-day workshop with Sue, create a highly embellished sampler through applique, layering, and embellishment using wool, textural fabrics, and a variety of threads in varying weights and fibers. You’ll spend time building the foundation of your sampler, incorporating hand-dyed velvet, cotton fabrics, and specialty fabrics. Next, elevate your piece through stitchery by experimenting with thread and other embellishments.

Your class fee includes a kit that includes wool & cotton fabrics to create your base and layers. It will also have a few special surprises in it from Kathleen! Several color options will be provided, and you'll be asked to make your selections early in the spring. 

Our Sue Spargo Week classes all include:

• Open classroom-- our classroom will be open from 8:30AM - 10:00PM Monday - Thursday, and 8:30AM - 5:00PM on Friday. 
• Sunday Afternoon Dye Lab-- join us Sunday afternoon, June 9, as we dye threads, embellishments, and fabrics for use in our projects. We hope to hold this event outdoors, but this is weather dependent. Full details (and a weather back-up plan) will be provided closer to our class date! 
• Lunch and snacks will be provided! 
• Great people, fun times, and a total blast.
