This year's Block of the Month was designed by Ardelle! Make a new circle every month to hang on a welcome sign with this fun and festive project.
Choose from two options-- a wooden sign made by Pollard Projects or a wool felt quilt designed by Ardelle but made by you! Wooden signs will be shipped with your first Block of the Month package, and wool quilt project kits will ship on October 1 / as soon as you sign up, whichever is later. The wooden signs will read "Welcome to our Home".
Each month you will receive the pattern for that month's block, as well as a kit with all your wool die-cut for you, so you're ready to start stitching as soon as it arrives! You'll also receive a small cotton applique piece for the background, as well as binding for the circle. You will be required to add your own batting and backing.
Optional thread kits are also available. The applique kit includes all the Ellana wool and Efina cotton threads to do all the applique throughout the year. The Embellishment kit includes all the Eleganza pearl cotton, House of Embroidery Pearl cotton, beads, Razzle, Dazzle, buttons, and Gimp you will need for the year.
We will be working one month ahead so you can use your blocks as soon as they are finished! This means in January you will receive the block meant to hang in February-- so you'll have January to complete your block to be able to hang it in February.
Sign up before December 1 and receive three bonus patterns-- one for a birthday block, and one for a Movember block, and a third for Canada Day! Optional kits will for these threeo blocks will be available for purchase.
Cost; Pay today $60, which includes your welcome sign (wood or felt) and registration fee. Cost is then $35/month, beginning in January! You will receive instructions in December to sign up for recurring billing for the year.
